A Few Things to Know
We want everyone to feel relaxed and taken care of on our wedding day. Here are some answers to questions that might come up as you prepare to celebrate with us.
Where is everything taking place?
Everything will be taking place at the home of Aaron and Holly Steele — 1310 Carlyon Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501. We can’t wait to welcome you there.
What time should I arrive?
We’d love for everyone to arrive on time so we can all share the day together from the very beginning. The full schedule is posted on the website to help you plan ahead.
When should I RSVP by?
We would love to hear from you by June 1, 2026. Knowing you’ll be there means the world to us, and it helps us make sure everything is just right.
How do I RSVP?
Just fill out the RSVP form right here on the website — it only takes a minute, and we’ll be so happy to see your name come through.
RSVP NowWhat should I wear?
The dress code is Summer Formal — think elegant and warm-weather appropriate. Ladies are welcome to wear ankle-length or floor-length dresses in vibrant colors or soft pastels. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear dress slacks with a button-down or a suit jacket. You’re going to look wonderful.
Will the celebration be indoors or outdoors?
The entire celebration will be held outside in the open air. Please note there will be no indoor house access, and restrooms will be outdoors. We recommend comfortable footwear for grass, and dressing in a way that lets you enjoy the summer evening.
What’s the weather usually like in late June?
Olympia in late June is typically warm and sunny — one of our favorite times of year here. Evenings can cool down a bit, so a light wrap or layer is a nice thing to have on hand just in case.
Where do I park?
Parking will be available across the street at Olympia High School. We also encourage carpooling or arranging a rideshare if that’s easier for you.
Will transportation be provided?
We won’t have arranged transportation, so we encourage everyone to plan their way to and from the venue ahead of time. Rideshares are a great option if you’d like to fully enjoy the evening.
Can I leave my car overnight?
We can’t guarantee the security of overnight parking, so we’d recommend making a plan to have your car home with you at the end of the night.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes — we’re so excited to share a meal together. Dinner will be served during the reception, along with drinks and dessert throughout the evening.
Are children coming?
We adore your little ones, and this celebration will be primarily adults-only. That said, there are a few sweet exceptions — Matteo (ring bearer), Isabella (flower girl), and the bride’s minor siblings.
Can I bring a plus one?
We chose to have a small, private, and intimate wedding, so we’re only able to accommodate the guests named on each invitation. We hope you understand, and we truly can’t wait to spend the day with you.
What does the day look like?
A full timeline of the day can be found on the Schedule page — we’ve tried to make it easy to follow so you always know what’s coming next.
What happens if it rains?
We’ve got a backup plan ready just in case. Whatever the weather brings, the day is going to be beautiful.
Where should I stay if I’m traveling from out of town?
We’ve put together a list of nearby hotels on the Travel page of the website to make things a little easier. Please note that we’re not able to provide discounted room blocks, but we hope the suggestions are helpful.
Is there a registry?
Honestly, having you there with us is more than enough. For those who would still like to give something, we’ve set up a small honeymoon fund on the website — and every bit is deeply appreciated.
Is there an afterparty?
Yes! If you’d like to keep the night going, you’re warmly invited to join us at an Olympia bar after the reception concludes around 9:00 PM. The bar location will be added to the site closer to the date — keep an eye out.
If something came up that isn’t answered here, there is a section on the RSVP form where you can leave any questions and we’ll get back to you. Lonna and Thomas are so grateful to be surrounded by the people they love most on this day.
